Jane Cannon - British artist

At the moment my paintings and drawings are predominately in oil or charcoal. These mediums seem to suit preferred method of working outdoors directly from the landscape.

I also enjoy watercolour and chalk pastel often working on an acrylic underpainting. However experimenting with different media is always exciting and helps my work to evolve.

I feel comfortable working on a large scale (1-2metres) although for plein air work this is not always practical, so my work comes in a variety of shapes and sizes.
